Dr. Janelyn Idica-Agbayani

Gender Consultant

Dr. Janelyn Idica-Agbayani, currently Assistant Professor and a visiting researcher and lecturer on Gender and Development of the CDES, is a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management holder and has served at the Cagayan State University, Philippines for 16 years. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2000, Highest in the Comprehensive Examination on her Master of Arts in English with her Thesis “Higher Order Thinking Skills of CSU College Freshmen” in 2004 at Cagayan State University, Tuguegarao City, and was awarded Outstanding in Oral Defense for her dissertation titled, “Predictors of English Language Competence among CSU Freshmen” in 2009 in the same university. She also served as Adviser for University and Campus Student Organizations and Student Publications then was designated as Coordinator for Students Services and Welfare in 2010, Associate Dean of the College of Hospitality Industry Management in December 2012 and has been the Gender and Development Focal Person in Sanchez Mira Campus from 2014 onwards.
